Marcia Mikai is an architect and urban planner from the Faculty of Fine Arts of São Paulo, with an MBA in Environmental Management and Technologies from POLI-USP, a master’s degree from IAU-USP and certified as a Charrette Manager and Planner by the National Charrette Institute (NCI). She has been an entrepreneur since 1987 and has participated in projects selected for Architecture Biennials. She was a curator for the Brazilian Council for Sustainable Construction (CBCS), Vice-President of the Smart City Business America Institute (currently Technical Advisor), and a professor in postgraduate and university extension courses. Her work focuses on collaborative projects, co-creation, development of “agrihoods” and large-scale agroforestry systems.
